Now that's Customer Service!

Haven't you always wanted things to be plain spoken and direct to the point? Particularly when faced with a customer service issue? How many times have you told someone like it is only to be responded to with by-the-book, corpo-politico speak?

If you've noticed, outages on BLOGGER have been frequent recently and anytime you have such issues, you should always click on BLOGGER STATUS to see what's up. The tech guys are quite good at nipping problems in the bud and posting exactly what is wrong, how they are fixing it and when things will be up and running again.

Well, the Blogger techies deserve a major pat in the back for efficiency and also for just "telling us like it is". As an example, here is response to today's series of server outages:

Some users are currently getting “403 Forbidden” errors when viewing their blogs, and “Permission Denied” errors (or variations thereof) when publishing. You may recognize this problem from Monday.

The offending server is being replaced and then shot. We’ll let you know when things are back up. Shouldn’t be too long.
