APE 2008 Recap

I'm back from the ALTERNATIVE PRESS EXPO in San Francisco where a good time was had by all. It's been re-affirmed to Octavio and I why APE is the best convention around. Great people. Fantastic art. Cool Vibe.

Thanks to all who visited us over the weekend and to those who bought our humble offerings, our eternal thanks. It was truly a remarkable experience and we hope to see all of you bay area folk again next year.

Of course the only thing better than selling is buying.  Some of the choice titles I acquired where the lovely Totoro Forest Project Book.  Bill Presing's Bookplate Betties, Gipi's They Found the Car, Matthew Forsythe's Ojingogo, Sho Murase's Kakure Tenshi and Enrico Casarosa's brand new Venice Chronicles.  I could have gotten more stuff but I would have had to pay and arm and a leg at the airport for going over the weight limit on my suitcase.
